Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Engineer in Irving, TX to design, develop and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.js. You will build RESTful APIs and microservices, participate in code reviews, and optimize performance across the stack.

You will collaborate with product owners, architects, and offshore teams in an Agile environment, leveraging cloud platforms, CI/CD, containers, and AI/LLM/RAG features to deliver robust software solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in full stack development with Java, Spring Boot, React.js.
• Experience building full-stack enterprise apps with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GC).
• Experience mentoring developers and leading technical discussions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack enterprise applications.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for business-critical systems.
• Perform coding, debugging, testing, and code reviews to optimize performance.
• Provide technical guidance to offshore teams and drive delivery.
• Translate requirements into scalable technical solutions in an Agile setting.
• Contribute to AI chatbot and RAG initiatives when applicable.
• Promote best practices for security, quality, and SDLC.
