Dover Fueling Solutions in the Chicago area is seeking a Senior Engineer, Software to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based solutions across AWS and Azure. You will use C# for backend services, an Angular frontend, and modern cloud infrastructure to deliver scalable, secure applications.

Responsibilities include architecting full-stack applications, building APIs, integrating cloud and on‑prem systems, optimizing performance, documenting designs, and participating in code reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of continuous experience in full stack application development and cloud engineering.
• Frontend Skills: Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Backend Skills: C# and .NET Core.
• Cloud Platforms: AWS and Azure.
• Database Knowledge: SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Git, AWS Code Pipeline, or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Architect Applications: Design and implement full stack applications and hybrid solutions across AWS and Azure.
• Write Code: Develop clean, secure backend services in C# and responsive interfaces using Angular.
• Integrate Systems: Build APIs and scripts to connect cloud services with on‑premises infrastructure.
• Collaborate Daily: Translate client requirements into scalable system architectures in technical meetings.
• Optimize Performance: Improve speed, security, and cloud efficiency of applications.
• Document Work: Create comprehensive documentation for system designs, APIs, and deployment procedures.
• Review & Test: Perform unit testing and peer code reviews to maintain high code quality.
• Provide Support: Offer Level 2/3 troubleshooting for complex application and cloud issues.
• Stay Updated: Monitor AWS, Azure, and Angular ecosystems to propose product upgrades.
