Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East seeks a Hybrid Forklift Operator for a temp-to-perm position on 1st shift (7:00 am–3:30 pm). Responsibilities include unloading, staging, feeding machines, and assisting with packing and light machine operation in a corrugated environment.

The ideal candidate has forklift experience, a safe operating record, and the ability to maintain accurate counts and paperwork while meeting production schedules. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Consistent work history with no gaps or explanation of gaps on resume.
• Prior work experience in the corrugated industry.
• Prior work experience as a forklift operator.
• Prior work history stacking, packing or lifting heavy material consistently throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Operate and care for forklifts in a safe manner.
• Unload trucks, stage material, supply machines, and feed lines by hand.
• Assist with machine operation as needed.
• Complete forklift inspections before shift and report issues.
• Maintain accurate counts and match received goods to bills of lading.
• Locate stock before runs and deliver to machines on schedule.
• Load trucks according to plan and stage units safely.
• Follow safety standards and company policies; assist other operators.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.
