Job summary

AssetMark is seeking a Sales Consultant to partner with a senior sales team member in driving product sales and strategic initiatives. The role focuses on building relationships with Investment Advisors to support their growth and success, with responsibilities encompassing needs analysis, product consultations, and proactive outreach.

The position offers base salary plus an incentives plan, with a hybrid work schedule near Chicago, IL, Charlotte, NC, or Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or finance.
• 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Active FINRA licenses: Series 6, 63, and 65 and/or Series 7 and 66 are required.

Responsibilities

• Identify objectives, circumstances, and needs of the advisor's business and client base to evaluate potential solutions.
• Educate, influence, and persuade advisors on the benefits of platform offerings.
• Proactively communicate with advisors and identify additional needs and partnership opportunities.
• Keep up to date with investment information, platform updates, marketing materials, and market events.
• Proactive outreach to prospective clients through cold calling using lead lists and maintaining a sales pipeline.
