Qualifications

• Accounting or Finance concentration; coursework in financial reporting or corporate finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general ledger accounting activities, including preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reports, including monthly management reports, quarterly financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Perform financial analysis to support management decision-making, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and ad-hoc analytical requests.
• Research and analyze financial, economic, operational, and regulatory data related to the electric utility industry.
• Support treasury functions including day-to-day cash management and short-term cash forecasting.
• Assist with financial compliance filings and maintain supporting documentation.
• Assist with wholesale tariff and billing analysis.
• Support electronic payment processing and finance records management.
• Maintain accounting records and financial databases and prepare supporting financial information.
