Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union seeks a Financial Advisor to provide basic financial consulting to members and non-members, promoting NFFG products within the branch network and related advisory services. You will manage a moderate book of business and help clients identify goals and suitable investment, insurance, and advisory options.

Responsibilities include client meetings, account reviews, and collaboration with Wealth Advisors to grow the book.

Qualifications

Proven ability to prospect and grow an established book of business.
Ability to generate GDC based on defined thresholds within a period.
FINRA Series 7 and NASAA Series 63/65/66 registration required; Life & Health license preferred or obtainable within 90 days.
Strong analytical, decision-making and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Actively built relationships within assigned branch territory to grow member base.
Conduct local seminars and events to expand book of business.
Provide investment and life insurance product expertise to clients.
Administer and document activity per FINRA, NASAA, SEC; ensure regulatory compliance.
Review accounts, communicate status and explain new offerings to clients.
Develop referrals and collaborate with Wealth Advisor to grow the book.
Execute purchase/sales orders for securities for clients.
