Job summary

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a Finance Systems & Data Governance Analyst in the Boston area. The role focuses on administering global finance systems, maintaining master data, and delivering BI dashboards to drive data-driven decisions.

You will work at the intersection of Finance, Technology, Data, and Project Management, supporting digital transformation and AI initiatives in Finance. This is a mostly remote role with local in-person meetings in Boston.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience supporting finance systems, FP&A, business systems, financial reporting, or data governance.
• Experience working with global organizations and cross-functional teams.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of financial systems, data validation, and master data governance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain global finance systems.
• Validate, reconcile, and maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial and operational data.
• Maintain finance master data, including chart of accounts, entities, cost centers, products, and organizational structures.
• Support system enhancements, upgrades, testing/UAT, documentation, and user access.
• Build dashboards and reporting solutions using BI tools.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and system optimization.
• Partner with Finance, IT, Accounting, FP&A, HR, Supply Chain, Operations, and external vendors on technology initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects by planning, tracking, and managing deliverables.
• Provide user support and training.
• Support the company's ongoing digital transformation and future adoption of AI for Finance.
