Job summary

PNC is seeking a Field Examiner for our Business Credit team, based in Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX. The role includes leading field examinations, analyzing collateral and financial data, and preparing detailed reports for credit decisions.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in ABL Field Examinations and strong Excel skills, with knowledge of accounting controls. The job supports an in-office culture with hybrid onsite/remote work options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of Asset Based Lending (ABL) Field Exam experience.
• Familiarity with corporate accounting through coursework and/or job experience.
• Advanced Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex Field Examinations on existing and prospective borrowers, onsite or hybrid.
• Perform independent analysis of collateral records and financial reports to assess values and weaknesses.
• Prepare Field Examination reports with findings, variances, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Communicate significant exam findings and escalate issues to lending and credit personnel.
• Lead and manage due diligence for examinations, coordinating with other Field Examiners; train junior staff.
• Participate in meetings with Relationship Manager and borrower representatives (CFO/CEO/Controller).
