Job summary

The University of Vermont is seeking an Events Management OC2 N to provide administrative and logistical support for planning, promotion, and execution of Teaching Academy events, faculty development programs, and educational research grant initiatives.

You will develop and oversee budgets, coordinate CMIE application follow-up, and ensure compliance with CME accreditation requirements, while supporting outreach and membership renewal for Teaching Academy.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required with two years of related admin or conference/event experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work; work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and logistical support for planning, promotion, and execution of Teaching Academy events, faculty development programs, and educational research grant initiatives.
• Develop and oversee budgets for each event.
• Coordinate CMIE application follow-up and reporting for events/programs.
• Ensure compliance with CME new program accreditation requirements.
• Coordinate Teaching Academy outreach, membership selection and renewal.
