Job summary

The role offers exposure to AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and ORD, with hybrid work options and opportunity to grow toward professional licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D; MicroStation experience a plus.
• Knowledge of roadway geometrics, corridor modeling, intersection design, plan production, quantities, and PS&E development.

Responsibilities

• Support design and delivery of roadway and highway improvement projects for WisDOT and local agencies.
• Prepare plans, specifications, estimates, and design calculations; develop technical reports and quantities.
• Utilize ORD, MicroStation, and AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop roadway geometry and construction plans.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
• Perform quality reviews to ensure compliance with standards and guidelines; provide engineering support during construction.
• Collaborate with WisDOT staff and municipalities to deliver safe, innovative transportation solutions.
