Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking an engineer to provide technical analysis and support for electric and natural gas energy efficiency programs. The role develops, promotes, and implements energy efficiency projects to meet defined goals and savings targets.

Responsibilities include reviewing project plans for engineering standards, performing energy analyses, guiding projects to verifiable savings, and collaborating with customers and third parties.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of engineering experience in a technical role.
• Knowledge of building systems including HVAC, pumps, motors.
• Familiarity with local energy codes.
• Engineer in Training (EIT), PE or CEM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement energy efficiency program plans.
• Perform energy analyses to determine savings.
• Provide guidance to ensure measurable and verifiable savings.
• Collaborate with third parties and customers on programs.
• Evaluate new technologies and R&D activities.
• Provide training and support for energy efficiency teams.
