Job summary

Golden Touch is seeking an Associate Designer, Dresses, to design on-trend dresses, jumpsuits, and rompers across knits and wovens while managing line plans for in-house and private label accounts. You will create tech packs, approve fabrics and trims, coordinate with overseas offices, and stay attuned to market trends to inspire fresh, commercially viable designs.

The role requires 3+ years in a designer role, proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, and strong collaboration with merchandisers,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of design experience in dresses for the women's junior market.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and tech pack creation.
• Strong understanding of fabric, trims, and construction.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design dresses, jumpsuits, and rompers across knits and wovens.
• Maintain line plans for in-house and private label accounts.
• Develop tech packs and flat sketches using Illustrator.
• Approve fabric quality, trims, and colors; critique revisions.
• Coordinate with overseas offices to ensure timely samples.
• Stay updated on trends and conduct market research for opportunities.
• Adhere to calendars to meet production timelines.
