Job summary

Verisk Analytics is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with 5+ years in application development, infrastructure, and DevOps practices. The role emphasizes hands-on AWS, Python scripting, and CI/CD with Bamboo and Octopus Deploy, ensuring reliable deployments across environments.

Onsite work in Holmdel, NJ two days per week, collaboration across BFSI-focused teams, and a strong focus on automation, monitoring, and security to enhance deployment processes and system reliability.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of DevOps engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
Proficient in Python scripting and automation.
Experience with Bamboo for CI/CD.
Experience with Octopus Deploy for automated deployments.
BFSI industry experience.
Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
On-site work in Holmdel, NJ two days per week.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo and Octopus Deploy.
Develop Python scripts to automate operational tasks, infrastructure processes, and application workflows.
Configure, manage, and support AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
Collaborate with application development and infrastructure teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability.
Troubleshoot build, deployment, infrastructure, and application-related issues.
Implement DevOps best practices for automation, monitoring, scalability, security, and performance.
Support application releases and ensure consistent, reliable deployments across environments.
Work with cross-functional teams to improve development, testing, and production deployment workflows.
