Job summary

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time DevOps Engineer to join our team at either the Chicago, IL or Dallas, TX offices. The role offers a hybrid work model, full benefits, PTO, 401k, and more.

You will contribute to design, development, testing, and deployment of software and infrastructure in a cloud-focused DevOps team. Ideal candidates have 5-7+ years of software development experience with 5+ years AWS cloud experience and strong GitHub Actions CI/CD proficiency.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of AWS cloud experience.
• Proficient with GitHub and GitHub Actions for source control and YAML-based CI/CD systems.
• Proficient writing and deploying AWS cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation templates.
• Strong AWS experience with MLOps and AI services (e.g., SageMaker Notebooks, Bedrock, ECS/EKS, and IAM).
• Strong interpersonal and technical communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
• Analytic mindset and skilled problem solver for troubleshooting issues.

Responsibilities

• Work on complex application and technical problem identification and resolution.
• Independently handle complex systems or infrastructure components used across one or more apps.
• Drive development focused on delivering business-valuable features.
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team.
• Identify areas for growth and improvement within the team.
• Communicate with end users and internal customers to guide development, debugging, and testing.
• Perform integrated and customer acceptance testing with careful planning and execution.
• Manage AWS IAM and troubleshoot cloud connectivity; collaborate on CI/CD and IaC initiatives.
