Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Director of DevOps, Support, and Operations to lead the DSCX portfolio in security, reliability, and resilience. You will drive automation, governance, and incident response across 30+ digital products, guiding a 6–8 person team and coordinating with BISO and security programs.

You will set on-call, DR, and continuity plans, while retiring legacy apps and steering sunsetting projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with substantial professional experience.
• Military experience counts as professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years in Application Operations and IT.

Responsibilities

• Own vulnerability remediation and high-priority defects across DSCX.
• Automate and reduce toil; manage automation backlog.
• Own SLA/SLO/SLI definitions and reporting; manage outages and incidents.
• Lead legacy sunsetting and migration plans with TPMs as needed.
• Oversee on-call rotations and disaster recovery planning.
• Manage vendor renewals, certifications, and support relationships.
• Lead and develop a distributed operations team with accountability.
