Job summary

New England Life Care is seeking a Data Warehouse Developer to design, build, and maintain the organization's data warehouse and analytics infrastructure. This hybrid, full-time role collaborates with stakeholders to transform data from multiple systems into reliable information for business intelligence platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data warehouse development.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and enterprise relational databases.
• Experience developing ETL pipelines using SSIS or Azure Data Factory.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing dimensional data models.
• Strong experience designing fact and dimension tables, surrogate keys, and SCDs.
• Advanced SQL development and query optimization skills.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the enterprise data warehouse architecture to support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple systems into staging, transformation, and warehouse layers.
• Ensure data consistency, naming conventions, and attribute value integrity.
• Optimize SQL queries, indexing strategies, and performance for data retrieval and warehouse processing.
• Automate, schedule, and monitor data integration jobs for reliable data loading.
• Ensure data accuracy and quality with validation checks and reconciliations between sources and warehouse.
• Collaborate with analysts to translate requirements into scalable data models and warehouse solutions.
• Provide technical expertise for BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Document architecture, models, ETL processes, and data definitions for maintainability and governance.
• Identify opportunities to improve data integration and reporting capabilities.
• Support data governance and data quality initiatives.
• Travel to remote sites as needed.
