Louisiana-Pacific Corporation in Nashville, TN is seeking a Data Engineering Intern for May 2027 – August 2027. This paid, full-time internship will support the Enterprise Data Engineering team and provide hands-on exposure to how data is ingested, transformed, and prepared for analytics.

You will learn to build data pipelines with Snowflake and dbt, explore AWS and Azure services, assist with dimensional models and data quality checks, and collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business

Qualifications

Basic understanding of SQL and introductory exposure to Python.
Interest in data engineering concepts including data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling.
Exposure to databases, data warehouses, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Snowflake) is a plus.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

Support the Enterprise Data Engineering team in developing and maintaining data pipelines.
Learn how modern data pipelines are built using Snowflake, dbt, and cloud services on AWS and Azure.
Assist with building and validating dimensional data models to support reporting and analytics use cases.
Participate in data quality checks and validations to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business partners to understand data requirements.
