Job summary

Surety Systems, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer (ETL) to support ongoing client projects as the client moves to Snowflake. You will join a larger data engineering team and focus on delivering reliable data work with strong SQL execution.

This hybrid role is based in Richmond, Virginia, with in‑office time every other week, Tuesday through Friday. The assignment is expected to run for at least a year, with potential extensions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Data Engineer experience required.
• 5+ years of SQL experience, including Standard SQL and Oracle SQL.
• 4+ years of ETL tool experience with Talend, Informatica and dbt.
• Must be able to pass a formal Background & Credit Check.
• US Citizenship or Green Card Holder required.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing client projects after the transition to Snowflake.
• Work across multiple client projects within the data engineering team.
• Create complex SQL queries quickly and accurately.
