Job summary

GreenStone Farm Credit Services is seeking a Data Engineer to design scalable data pipelines, optimize our BI platform, and partner with Finance and IT to turn data into actionable insights. You will lead ETL processes, enhance data quality, and explore cloud-based stream-processing technologies in AWS or Azure.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of data warehouse experience, with strong SQL and Microsoft BI skills (SSIS/SSAS/SSRS/Power BI).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required.
• 1+ years of professional experience developing data warehouses is required.
• Experience working with Microsoft BI tools (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI)
• Strong in SQL programming and Kimball data warehouse modeling.
• Master of the Databricks platform and Python programming, certifications preferred
• A team player mindset — you listen, collaborate, and help make others better.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, secure, and resilient data pipelines from source to insight.
• Own and enhance our enterprise BI platform to be reliable and future-ready.
• Partner with Finance and IT to turn raw data into meaningful stories.
• Lead ETL processes—designing, managing, tuning, and monitoring.
• Optimize queries, tune databases, and prevent bottlenecks.
• Automate reporting workflows, ensure data quality, and innovate data journey steps.
• Explore new technologies and stream-processing systems in cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
• Maintain documentation and follow best practices in data warehousing, security, and compliance.
