Job summary

Compeer Financial invites undergraduate juniors, non-graduating seniors or graduate students to join a hands-on Data Analytics internship. You will learn to query, model, and analyze financial data to support business decisions and assess client credit worthiness using SQL, Python, R and Excel.

The role offers a hybrid work model with flexible schedules and opportunities for learning, mentorship, and potential full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

Working toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics or a related field.
Coursework or experience in data analytics, modeling, or financial analysis preferred.
Proficiency in PowerBI, Python, R, Excel, AI tools or other data analytics tools.

Responsibilities

Collect, model, and analyze data to support business decision-making.
Partner with others to use internal data to answer business questions with analytics and modeling.
Contribute to key team projects, collaboratively or independently.
Assist initiatives focused on cost containment and operational efficiency.
Utilize SQL, Python, R and Microsoft Excel in daily work.
