Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Two years of experience writing and optimizing SQL queries (T-SQL, PL/SQL).
• Experience building reports, dashboards, and visualizations using a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with ad hoc reporting and data analysis to support decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sponsored program data to identify trends and inform decision-making; develop, run, and maintain ad hoc and standard reports; manage user access and security for reports and dashboards.
• Design, build, and maintain data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI; leverage AI-assisted features; provide training for self-service reporting.
• Support data pipelines and integrations using Azure Data Factory; verify data integrity across systems; migrate data from legacy databases; build and maintain Denodo views for data virtualization.
• Develop functional expertise in pre-award and post-award processes; create documentation and a data dictionary; respond to user requests for reporting in a timely manner; apply project management to prioritize requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned consistent with SPA and University mission.
