Job summary

EY is seeking a CTF Shift Lead to manage the Cyber Triage and Forensics team within Information Security in the United States. The role emphasizes performance management of junior and senior analysts, swift threat response, and leadership in security operations.

You will engage in security event analysis, triage, and continuous process improvement while coordinating with the global leadership to align cybersecurity efforts with business goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, or equivalent work experience.
• 4–5 years in a Security Monitoring/SOC environment investigating events and threats.
• Understanding logs correlation and electronic investigations with intrusion detection platforms.
• Working knowledge of Linux and/or Windows systems administration, including Active Directory.
• Scripting or programming skills (Python, PowerShell, Shell, Perl, Java).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and performance of the CTF Analysts.
• Ensure prompt response to email and case queues.
• Distribute workload among the threat hunting team and oversee activities.
• Participate in analysis and triage of security events.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts.
• Set performance expectations and manage team performance.
• Report case status and incidents to global lead.
• Update SOPs and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Technical Lead for incident support.
