Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Rockville, MD is seeking a junior cyber software developer to design, develop, integrate, and test scalable software and AI capabilities for enterprise cybersecurity. You will collaborate with analysts, testers, and architects to identify requirements and deliver mission-focused capabilities.

The role requires a strong software background, knowledge of AI agents and cybersecurity concepts, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and exposure to Rust, C/C++, Java, JavaScript, Go, or similar languages.
• Experience building AI agents or AI-powered workflows.
• Familiarity with Linux CLI environments (Bash, grep, sed, awk, jq).
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate and test scalable software solutions and AI capabilities for enterprise cybersecurity.
• Collaborate with analysts, testers, architects and other technical teams to identify requirements and deliver capabilities.
• Contribute to threat intelligence and defensive/offensive cyber operations programs.
