Job summary

Entergy is seeking an Information Security Analyst I-II to join our CSOC in a hybrid capacity. The role will support day-to-day security operations, incident response, and security monitoring across multiple sites including Little Rock, New Orleans, Jackson, and The Woodlands.

You will work with SIEM tools, investigate incidents, leverage AI-enabled solutions, and mentor junior analysts. Governance and MITRE ATT&CK alignment are key, with up to 25% travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in cybersecurity or related field and 1+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, event and incident investigations and incident response in a 24/7 SOC.
• Knowledge of attack vectors, threat intelligence sources, and cybersecurity landscape.
• Experience with access control, CCTV, IDS, and SIEM tools.

Responsibilities

• Understand digital evidence and perform forensic analysis.
• Improve daily operations and incident response playbooks.
• Identify automation opportunities to enhance capabilities.
• Investigate security incidents including malware, phishing, and unauthorized access.
