GM Financial Bank seeks a Credit Risk Analyst to support the AVP – Credit Risk with analytical insight into credit performance, policy execution, and portfolio trends. This role offers structured coaching and exposure to governance, data analytics, and leadership interactions.

You will build reports, dashboards, and analyses, while learning underwriting practices and regulatory expectations in a growing, startup-like banking environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Business Analytics, MIS or related quantitative field required
• 0–2 years of experience with complex Excel workbooks, querying large multi-table datasets, data analysis, and data presentation; consumer loan/lease portfolio analysis experience preferred
• Experience with data analysis, reporting and visualization techniques
• Ability to connect data trends to credit outcomes
• Understanding of consumer credit fundamentals and willingness to develop underwriting judgment
• Attention to detail and data accuracy discipline
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Experience with SQL, SAS, Power BI, Databricks or similar tools preferred (training supported)

Responsabilidades

• Operate effectively in a startup banking environment and manage multiple priorities
• Support the AVP – Credit Risk in development, monitoring and reporting of credit risk strategies
• Create recurring and ad-hoc credit risk reports and dashboards for management
• Analyze origination trends, portfolio performance and metrics to identify risks/opportunities
• Assist in creation, maintenance and monitoring of credit policies and procedures
• Translate analytical findings into concise leadership summaries
• Prepare materials for Leadership, Committees and Board reporting
• Conduct ad-hoc research projects with data collection and analysis
• Develop working knowledge of credit decisioning systems and underwriting workflows
