Job summary

IDB Bank in New York, NY is seeking a Credit Analyst to support origination and portfolio management of commercial loans. The role offers a path to deepen credit expertise within an entrepreneurial institution and exposure to diverse specialties.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of relevant experience, strong financial statement analysis skills, and proficiency with CreditLens, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office. Hybrid work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics or related field; substitute education with compensating work experience.
• Completion of a formal credit training program preferred.
• Expert in Microsoft Office with aptitude for technology tools, including AI solutions.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide analyst coverage for assigned business unit(s) including CRE, Healthcare, Middle Market C&I, ABL, Private Banking, and Leveraged Finance.
• Support loan origination by analyzing financial statements, due diligence, market conditions, comparables, and screening memorandums.
• Assist underwriters in investment committee presentations; identify credit risk factors and perform cash flow analyses.
