Job summary

Jobot seeks a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal in Roseland, NJ, to support attorneys on complex CRE transactions from contract to closing. You will review title commitments, surveys, and closing binders, and draft and review leases, deeds, and related documents.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of CRE paralegal experience, strong organization and communication skills, and proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal.
• Proficiency in reviewing and analyzing title and survey.
• Experience in preparing and managing closing binders.
• Strong understanding of mortgage industry and CRE transactions.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Paralegal certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting attorneys with all aspects of commercial real estate transactions from contract to closing.
• Reviewing title commitments, recorded documents, and surveys.
• Preparing and managing closing binders, ensuring documents are organized.
• Drafting and reviewing leases, contracts, and deeds.
• Coordinating with clients, opposing counsel, lenders, and title companies.
• Conducting legal research and due diligence related to property transactions.
• Managing and tracking transaction progress with timely follow-ups.
• Keeping up-to-date with CRE laws and regulations.
