Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking an Accounting & Auditing CPA Editor to join our audit and accounting division. This full-time, hybrid role offers opportunities to work from multiple U.S. hub locations including NYC, and to develop information solutions for accounting professionals in CPA firms or corporations across the U.S.

Qualifications

• CPA certification is required.
• At least 5 years of practical public accounting experience, preferably as Manager or Senior Manager.
• Broad-based technical accounting and auditing knowledge with strong research skills.
• Nonprofit audit/PCAOB experience is preferred; Single Audit experience is a plus.
• Ability to execute assignments timely and identify product improvements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update audit and accounting solutions used by CPA firms or corporations in the U.S.
• Provide guidance on electronic tools to improve customer retention and education.
• Apply expertise to identify topics and provide practical guidance for users.
• Oversee work of team members, including outside authors and internal staff, to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with product, technology, customer service, and sales teams to align customer needs with solutions.
• Communicate with customers to resolve needs and ensure product responsiveness.
• Assist with strategic development projects as requested.
