Job summary

BNY is seeking a Corporate Actions Analyst to support end-to-end processing and reconciliation of corporate action events for an investment client. This hands-on, Excel-focused role involves data entry, report review, reconciliation, market data tracking, and lifecycle processing in a fast-paced, detail-oriented team.

The ideal candidate is analytical, eager to learn, and comfortable in a process-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business management, accounting or related field.
• Strong Excel skills with large data sets and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Excellent attention to detail in a highly process-driven environment.
• Ability to learn complex processes quickly and take initiative.
• Internship experience acceptable for candidates with limited professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Support full lifecycle of corporate actions processing and event notification.
• Perform daily reconciliations across cash, securities and suspense transactions.
• Monitor events, scrub data, interpret details, and ensure accuracy in internal systems.
• Process and allocate dividends and interest payments; reconcile entitlements.
• Collect market data, research events, and assess client impact.
• Communicate with internal partners, clients, investment managers, brokers as needed.
• Maintain quality control across daily processing and documentation.
