Job summary

Klinedinst PC in downtown San Diego seeks an attorney with 3–8 years of experience in construction litigation, real estate, and/or complex civil litigation to join our team and handle matters statewide.

Candidates must be California-licensed with strong academics and a drive for advocacy, with the ability to manage discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, and trial preparation. Flexible remote/hybrid arrangements offered.

Qualifications

• California-licensed attorney with 3–8 years of experience in construction, real estate or complex civil litigation.
• Strong advocacy, analytical and communication skills with a passion for resolving complex issues.
• Experience structuring discovery plans, taking/defending depositions, and drafting dispositive motions.
• Ability to manage document-intensive cases and prepare for trial.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage cases from inception through trial.
• Structure and oversee discovery plans and document review.
• Take and defend depositions; prepare dispositive motions.
• Communicate with clients and coordinate with support staff.
• Represent clients in complex civil and construction matters.
