Job summary

RLI Insurance Company is seeking a skilled claims professional to manage 1st and 3rd party Commercial Transportation claims within a defined authority. The role requires evaluating coverage, liability, and reserves while coordinating with appraisers and experts.

The position offers a base pay range of $68,556 to $98,036, plus a comprehensive Total Rewards package. It supports flexible and hybrid work arrangements in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, insurance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of claim handling experience in commercial/transportation.
• Experience with commercial trucking, bus, or auto claims; cargo experience a plus.
• AIC or CPCU designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle direct 1st and 3rd party Commercial Transportation and Trucking Physical Damage claims.
• Investigate, analyze, and manage coverage, liability, damages, and reserves.
• Maintain claim files and ensure documentation and proper resolution.
• Coordinate with appraisers, investigators, adjusters and experts.
• May work on special projects.
