The role requires Top Secret clearance and hybrid work with 2 days onsite in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities include designing target-state architectures, migration planning, and ensuring cohesive operation of on-prem and cloud components.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in systems architecture, infrastructure engineering, virtualization, or cloud computing.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related discipline.
• Experience with Cisco switching and enterprise network administration.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and maintain hybrid architectures spanning on-premises infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Analyze user and business requirements and translate them into scalable designs for current operations and cloud architecture.
• Lead migration planning and execution, including workload assessment and cloud landing zone design.
• Administer and optimize on-premises network and storage infrastructure during migration.
• Architect cloud networking and connectivity (VPCs, routing, VPN, transit gateways) for hybrid operations.
• Develop governance, security standards, and operational processes across both environments.
