Job summary

CACI is seeking a Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer to join a development team responsible for a platform-as-a-service capability deployed across multiple security domains. You will maintain OpenShift environments, collaborate with security, and scale services to meet evolving requirements.

The role requires a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or equivalent, 5-8 years of dev experience, and hands-on experience with OpenShift, AWS, containers, and CI/CD tooling. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline.
• 5-8 years of developer experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA.

Responsibilities

• O&M of OpenShift across multiple security domains (cloud and datacenter).
• Support OpenShift operators and frameworks (Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps).
• Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they come online.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams to scale platforms and meet integration requirements.
• Coordinate with Security for ongoing compliance and secure solutions.
• Support data services: RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack.
• Prepare detailed documentation.

Job Title: Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer

The Opportunity:

Work on a development team, utilizing Agile scrum methodology, which is responsible for developing and maintain agency wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capability deployed across multiple security domains. The PaaS environment supports multiple tenants deploying a myriad of application stacks and data services.

Responsibilities:

• O&M of existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments

• Support OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps

• Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they come online

• Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them

• Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions

• Support data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack

• Compile detailed documentation

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• 5-8 years Developer experience

• Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA

Desired:

• Experience deploying and managing RedHat Open Shift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment

• Experience with Amazon Web Services

• Python, Shell scripting, Git

• Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS

• CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins

• Container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200-$158,100
