Job summary

Braintrust is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer on the Public Cloud team to design, implement, and manage advanced network architectures across AWS and Google Cloud, with on‑premise integration. You will build scalable, secure networks and automate them using IaC, prioritizing reliability and security in a multi-cloud setup.

The role emphasizes hands-on design, operations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enable fast, secure cloud adoption for our financial services client base.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing multi-cloud networks (AWS & GCP).
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Deployment Manager).
• Knowledge of DNS, load balancing, and security controls in cloud networks.
• Familiarity with on-premise integration and hybrid cloud connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage multi-cloud network architectures across AWS and GCP.
• Establish secure connectivity between on-premises data centers and public clouds.
• Develop and maintain IaC modules for standardized network deployments.
• Configure and manage DNS, load balancing, API gateways, and CDNs.
• Automate provisioning and operations of cloud network resources.
• Own reliability, performance, monitoring, and incident response for network services (SRE).
• Implement network security best practices (NACLs, security groups, WAF).
• Troubleshoot and optimize network performance across hybrid/multi-cloud.
• Document architectures and mentor junior engineers.
