Job summary

ACA Group in Durham, NC is seeking a Full Stack/Platform Engineer to expand the Research Compliance Solutions platform. The role is hybrid—2 days in the Durham, American Tobacco Campus office.

You will design backend services in Python, build modern UI with React, and develop AWS-based cloud infrastructure to support real-time call screening, transcript analysis, and data workflows. You will own APIs, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python, React, and AWS cloud services.
• Experience building microservices and REST APIs.
• Familiar with PostgreSQL databases and data pipelines.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience in Agile software development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for AI-powered workflows.
• Build modern web apps with React and TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and microservices.
• Containerize apps with Docker; deploy on Kubernetes.
• Work with AWS infrastructure using IaC (CDK).
• Collaborate with Product, Compliance, Data Science, and Engineering.
• Drive architecture decisions and platform scalability.
