Job summary

MSD Malaysia offers a Global Clinical Trial Operations internship within the Portfolio Resource Forecasting team. The program runs up to 12 weeks, with hybrid work and exposure to real-world data analytics and forecasting tools across clinical trials.

The role is ideal for students pursuing a BS/BA in business, technology, math or science and familiar with Python, SQL or PowerBI. Start around May/June 2027 with a fixed-term intern status.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a full-time BS/BA in business, computer technology, mathematics or science related discipline.
• Knowledge of Python, SQL or PowerBI is a plus.
• Available to work full-time for up to 12 weeks starting May or June 2027.
• Must have completed at least 2 years of collegiate study by June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Provide resource forecasting and analytics support for selected functional stakeholders.
• Use Python, SQL or PowerBI to create new data processes, views, or dashboards.
• Develop tools to support resource forecasting, visualization and/or process automation.
• Support development of algorithmic demand models.
• Generate process maps and/or performance metrics.
• Assist efforts to simplify and standardize global processes.
• Develop effective communications for stakeholders.
• Assist exposure to clinical research and drug development with global trials support.
• Deliver a capstone presentation illustrating internship objectives and activities.
