Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I to join our Clinical Trials Office. This role involves direct patient interaction, enrolling participants, educating them about trials, and guiding them through experiences in therapeutic clinical trials.

You will work with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, data monitors and other team members to ensure trials progress safely, on schedule, and in accordance with plans and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in scientific, health-related or business administration fields with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Associate’s degree with 2 years of relevant clinical, health-related, scientific, business or research experience accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s.
• CCR P/CCRC or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care with medical staff and document per standards and regulatory guidelines under supervisor.
• Act as liaison between investigators, regulatory staff and sponsor.
• Screen, enroll, and follow study subjects with protocol compliance and close monitoring.
• Responsible for data and source documentation and adverse event reporting.
• Perform diverse administrative duties requiring analysis, judgment, and knowledge of study protocol.
• Work under supervision to implement and coordinate research activities and procedures.
