Hawthorne Health is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to serve as the site lead in Gadsden, AL, coordinating day-to-day trial activities, investigator relations, patient flow, regulatory support, and study operations to ensure smooth execution.

The position averages 32–40 hours per week with a flexible mix of remote and on-site work, backed by a centralized operations team to support recruitment, quality, and compliance across trials.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Clinical Research Coordinator experience.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred or demonstrated venipuncture competency.
• Strong understanding of regulatory documentation and data management.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and coordinate all site-based clinical trial activities.
• Perform phlebotomy following clinical and safety protocols.
• Recruit, screen, and enroll study participants per criteria.
• Schedule and conduct study visits per protocol requirements.
• Collect, process, and ship biological samples per guidelines.
• Maintain study documentation and regulatory binders, informed consent forms.
• Enter data accurately into EDC systems.
• Communicate with sponsors, monitors, and team members.
• Ensure compliance with GCP, ICH, FDA, and IRB regulations.
• Assist in monitoring visits and audit preparation.
