MercyOne Northeast Iowa seeks a Registered Dietitian for a full-time, hybrid role at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center. You will deliver medical nutrition therapy within an interdisciplinary team, conduct nutrition assessments, and help develop patient education materials to support care goals.
Requirements include RD licensure in Iowa within 6 months, strong communication, and ability to work independently on patient care units; typical hours 8am-4:30pm with on-site 3 days and remote 2 days.
Hybrid position - the RD works closely with the interdisciplinary health care team to provide nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy that are integrated and compatible with the patient’s medical program goals and objectives. Primary Responsibilities include developing and implementing care and medical nutrition therapy using established standards of care and practice protocols/guidelines; managing resources in a cost-effective manner, participating in performance improvement efforts; and maintaining professional competency and skills required for professional practice.
