Progressive is seeking a claims adjuster trainee in Woodland Hills, CA, offering a hybrid schedule with in-office days and flexible remote options for 12 months. You’ll learn to determine coverage and liability, interview customers and witnesses, and coordinate with appraisers to manage vehicle repairs.

The role includes comprehensive training, coaching from leaders, and an emphasis on building independent adjuster skills.

Qualifications

• Three years of work experience
• Associate's degree with two years work experience or Bachelor's degree
• Legal authority to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage
• Determine liability (who’s at fault for the damages)
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers and resolve claims
