Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to support design activities in structural steel and reinforced concrete. The role reports to the Structural Steel Senior Manager and is hybrid, on-site two days per week.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Engineering with internship or EIT/FE beneficial; you will gain experience with ANSYS, LS-DYNA, GT Strudl and AutoCAD while adhering to ACI/AISC/AWS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Internship experience or EIT/FE certification is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support design activities in structural steel and concrete design.
• Address technical issues during fabrication, assembly and construction.
• Provide on-site support at utilities and smaller projects.
• Develop sketches/markups using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Familiarize with applicable civil/structural codes and standards (ACI, AISC, AWS).
