Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Business Consultant to translate moderately complex business needs into software requirements, leveraging full technical knowledge of systems and business analysis. This hybrid role supports 1–2 days in-office weekly, with potential alternate locations within commuting distance.

Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS and at least 8 years of business analysis experience including analysis and project management.
• Alternate combination of education and experience may qualify.
• Must be able to translate business needs into software requirements.

Responsibilities

• May lead teams of analysts assigned to complex projects.
• Determine specific software requirements to address complex and varied business needs.
• Analyze and design solutions to address complex and varied business needs.
• Consult with business partners concerning application and implementation of technology.
• Lead restitution reviews and operational investigations to assess member, client, and financial impacts.
• Conduct complex business and claims data analyses to quantify impact and identify trends.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate risks and develop corrective actions.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and drive process improvements.
• Develop impact assessment methodologies, business cases, and executive-level reporting.
• Support strategic PBM Operations initiatives by evaluating operational impacts and risks.
• Prepare and present findings, recommendations, and status updates to leadership.
