Job summary

North Shore Community College invites applications for the Budget Analyst (Staff Associate) in the Fiscal Affairs Office. This hybrid role in Danvers/MA supports budget development, forecasting, and financial monitoring across departments.

The candidate will prepare annual budgets, analyze expenditures, and provide data-driven insights to leadership. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in finance/accounting/economics with 3–5 years of experience, proficient in ERP systems (Ellucian Banner)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required; 3–5 years of related experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; experience with forecasting and budgeting.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Ellucian Banner; advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the AVP of Strategic Finance to coordinate the annual operating budget and revenue projections.
• Monitor expenditures, prepare reports for leadership and external stakeholders, and ensure compliance with budgets and regulatory requirements.
• Develop unit-level budgets with academic and administrative units and track variances.
• Support multi-year capital planning and contract tracking; assist in annual financial statement audits.
