Job summary

Nexamp is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to build and optimize financial modeling tools and production software in a React/Django/Azure stack. You will work on internal tools that accelerate capital deployment for solar projects, mentor juniors, and help shape scalable patterns while collaborating across the squad.

This hybrid Boston-based role reports to the Tech Lead and emphasizes code quality, sprint participation, and ongoing skill growth to drive Nexamp’s mission forward.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience building and optimizing consumer-facing frontend applications in React and TypeScript.
• Experience developing financial forecasting software is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy reliable and efficient production software in our React/Django/Azure stack.
• Actively collaborate in sprint planning, execution, code reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
• Own design decisions across the stack. Establish and execute scalable patterns, standards, and best practices for the squad.
• Grow others by mentoring and collaborating with more junior developers across the organization.
• Grow yourself by continually leveling up your skills and making a bigger impact across Nexamp.
