Job summary

Lighthouse Autism Center in Illinois seeks a dedicated BCBA to design individualized programming prioritizing communication, independence and self-advocacy through a neuroaffirming, assent-based approach. Qualifications

• Active BCBA credential.
• Eligible to supervise RBTs.
• 2 to 3 years of ABA experience with a variety of ages.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake evaluations including functional behavioral assessments and skills assessments.
• Design positive behavioral treatment and skill acquisition plans with goals tailored to the individual.
• Supervise and train ABA technicians; implement, model and monitor progress of individualized behavior support and skill plans with ABA technicians.
• Provide caring support during family conversations to ensure parents fully understand assessment results and treatment recommendations.

• Eligible to provide supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT)
• 2 to 3 years of experience in ABA field, working with a variety of ages.
• Able to communicate expressively and receptively for all responsibilities within the job role.
