Job summary

Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA seeks a full-time Billing/Accounts Receivable specialist. You will balance and reconcile health plan receivables, post payments, and generate monthly reports while maintaining accurate billing data and coordinating with multiple groups.

The role requires a high school diploma and about 1 year of AR/billing experience. On-site hours are standard (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with potential after training to work from home two days weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of related experience in billing and accounts receivables.

Responsibilities

• Balance and reconcile health plan accounts receivables.
• Update spreadsheets with current accounts payable and receivable data.
• Verify accuracy of billing information and make necessary corrections.
• Post payments and generate monthly reports.
• Manage collections and maintain regular communication with involved groups.
