Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit seeks a Behavioral Psychotherapist to join our interdisciplinary mental health team. You will deliver evidence-based therapy to individuals and families navigating mental illness and substance use disorders, with a full range of interventions and crisis support.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, provide individual, couples, group, and family therapies, and ensure accurate documentation while collaborating with the care team to support recovery

Qualifications

Master's (or Doctoral) degree in clinical or counseling psychology with one year supervised post masters experience; OR Master's degree in Social Work with two years post Master's experience in mental health/chemical dependency setting.
Licensure as Licensed Psychologist; OR Limited Licensed Psychologist; OR Licensed Master's in Social Work.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
Deliver a diverse range of psychotherapeutic interventions including individual, couples, group, and family therapies.
Provide crisis intervention services to acutely distressed clients and connect them with resources.
