Job summary

Saint Cyr Partners is seeking a Banking & Finance Associate Attorney in New York to support domestic and cross-border financing transactions. The role emphasizes structured finance, secured lending, and collaboration with an elite banking practice in a hybrid setting.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of substantive experience at a major law firm, a strong JD from a top-tier school, and active bar admission. Lender and borrower representation across complex financings is expected.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Active bar admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 4–6 years of substantive experience in structured finance and secured lending at a major law firm.
• Experience representing credit funds, lenders, borrowers, and sponsors in a broad range of financings.
• Familiarity with structured credit, receivables financings, distressed financings, and growth capital transactions.
• Strong client-service orientation with the ability to manage multiple matters efficiently.
• Large law firm experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent credit funds and other lenders and/or borrowers and sponsors in domestic and international financing transactions.
• Draft and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, intercreditor agreements, and related transaction documentation.
• Support transactions involving receivables financings and other structured credit deals, private credit, syndicated credit facilities, structured finance, and distressed situations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across offices and practice groups to deliver seamless client service.
• Manage deal execution from initial diligence through closing.
