Job summary

Compu-Vision Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer in New York, NY (Hybrid). You will design, build, and support enterprise backend services for the E-Citations application, focusing on secure APIs, workflow automation, and data processing.

The role requires strong .NET/C# expertise, cloud-native development, and deep experience with database and integration patterns. You will collaborate with product, QA, security, and data teams to deliver production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Experience designing cloud-native backend services and APIs.
• Hands-on with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, RBAC/IAM, TLS, encryption.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support backend services for the E-Citations app.
• Build secure REST and SOAP APIs for enterprise integrations.
• Develop workflow automation and event-driven processing.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and IaC for scalable delivery.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across IT and product.
