Job summary

Reventure App, LLC is seeking a hands-on backend and data engineer for a hybrid role in Nashville, TN or Atlanta, GA. You will own Python backend systems, data architecture, ETL pipelines, and APIs, collaborating with the CEO and development team to turn product ideas into production features.

You’ll balance coding with product sense, apply DevOps practices, and improve stability and scalability while leveraging modern analytics to measure impact on users.

Qualifications

• Strong backend and data engineering experience with a product mindset.
• Ability to own features from design to production and measure impact using data.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain our Python backend systems.
• Design and improve data architecture and APIs powering web and mobile apps.
• Own new product features from planning through production.
• Maintain and improve ETL pipelines processing housing, economic, and geographic data.
• Write and optimize advanced SQL.
• Manage asynchronous processes, queues, and background jobs.
• Maintain Google Cloud Platform infrastructure (Compute Engine, Pub/Sub, load balancing).
• Debug issues across data sources, backend systems, and the user-facing app.
